The 2014 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show is now less than two months away, making it an opportune time to reflect on what this world renowned event has come to represent, both in terms of it being a symbol of a truly iconic location, and as an economic driver for the yachting industry.
Consequently, the focus of our newsletter today is to take a detailed look at what we have described as “the true home of the superyacht community”. Amongst the subjects we discuss is the opening for the brand new Yacht Club de Monaco, which Superyachts.com were fortunate enough to visit some months back.
Elsewhere in today’s newsletter, we bring you an exclusive video of CRN’s new 61-metre motoryacht Saramour. First launched back in March at CRN’s Ancona shipyard, M/Y Saramour is billed as offering design elements that draw inspiration from the automotive sector
We also report on news of Mondo Marone Chairman Alessandro Falcia becoming an integral player in Montepaschi Siena Bank, Perini Navi’s Completion of the mast stepping on Perseus^3, and the delivery of the Admiral’s Custom Classique 35 M/Y Foam Delivered at The Italian Sea Group.
If that’s not enough, there’s also stories on Nautor's Swan’s announcement of the contract signing for the fourth Swan 115, the launch of Ferretti Yachts’ Hull #1 In 650 Range, and the debut of Benetti’s Veloce 140’at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
