The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is one of the stand-out events on the superyacht calendar. With all of the industry’s major players represented at the show, not to mention an array of stunning vessels, it is a time where relationships are strengthened and cultivated, not to mention business completed.
This year’s show promises to be the biggest and best yet, not least thanks to the re-emergence of the American market that has sparked a huge amount of activity in recent months. The sense of positivity was most evident at the recent Monaco Yacht Show – alongside Fort Lauderdale the industry’s most prestigious event – where everyone we spoke to was confident that the good times are back.
To add to this feel-good factor, we will be marking today’s opening by hosting our own Superyachts.com event on-board M/Y Arianna this evening. Check in with us tomorrow to see a full video feature from what promises to be a lavish and exclusive party.
In addition to a full Fort Lauderdale preview, elsewhere in today’s newsletter we bring you the exciting news that Superyachts.com will once again be serving as the exclusive online media partner at the 2015 Hainan Rendez-Vous show in China. With China still the holy grail for brands across the luxury and yachting industries, it is little surprise that so many companies see the event as an essential part of their marketing strategies.
From the yachting world, there’s reports on Royal Huisman’s plans to expand with new key shareholders, Worth Avenue’s sale of the Westport-built motoryacht Miss Michelle, the imminent introduction of the Azimut Atlantis 43 at January’s Düsseldorf Boat Show, and much more.
Be sure to visit us over the coming days for exclusive news and interviews brought you by the Superyachts.com team in Fort Lauderdale.
