There was a time that if anyone bought a classic car it would have been seen as a mid-life crisis. These days are over. Now, the most enviable high-octane vehicles on land or water are becoming the most sought after products for family and individuals thanks to new levels of innovation and jaw-dropping technology.
This week we’ve taken a look at the best toys a superyacht owner can have, and even writing these pieces, envy is the only emotion I can appropriately convey.
Creations such as on-water inflatable slides to personal submersibles and private transforming luxury crafts are flooding the market, and with each and every advancement in technology, comes another item on the wishlist.
It’s a classic editorial notion that, with the holidays approaching, we can’t help but look at the untouchable items available to the world’s elite. These items are the result of years of expertise, passion and boundary pushing craftsmanship, and they’re here to be enjoyed.
There is no shame in buying yourself an Airbus Helicopter, the world’s most exclusive office extension. There’s a pseudo-psychological appreciation for the man that made it happen. There’s no disrespect for the man who can outfit their yacht with FreeStyle Slides, LISA Airplanes and Quadskis, there’s a newfound respect for technology.
This is an age of marvelous creation, and a new level of intelligent design. I’m just glad these people are using their intellect to create explorative products such as the Super Yacht Sub, or the DeepFlight Dragon, and the legion of other superyacht toys available today - as well as the mind-blowing possibilities of the future.
Life is meant to be enjoyed, so go a little faster, delve a little deeper, and give your family the inflatable slide of their dreams.
