Editor's Note: Closing Down Year Six at the BNC

The 2016 Monaco Yacht Show has drawn to a close and Superyachts.com has closed the door on the Breaking News Centre for the sixth time.

While Saturday brought rain as well as a poorly timed and thankfully short power cut, the sound of hundreds of horns carried across a sea of both positivity and activity nonetheless. The BNC came back online to reach a new record for the 26th edition and, after recording over seventy interviews and welcoming our closest colleagues and supporters to the stand we share with our friends and sponsors.

It is a real pleasure to have welcomed every single interviewee and representative who joined us to discuss the latest news surrounding the superyacht industry and lifestyle.

This is my sixth year working the stand and running the Breaking News Centre, and I have never been more appreciative of a talented team in my life.

Over 72 interviews is a major achievement, and one that Superyachts.com could not achieve without a hugely reliable force of experts who, more often than not, hold it together long enough to help us reach the goal of bringing more news, more updates and more images to the world than previous years.

Our new Editorial team have worked hard to present the world with our latest print publication, and the return of our film crew has presented nothing but the ability to close the book on our busiest Monaco yet.
