Editor’s Note: Luxury Yachting in the Heart of Hainan

We’re headed to Hainan to take a closer look at the activity surrounding the Asian yacht market this week. all while asking the exhibiting experts how consumer behaviour is changing in China.

As I write this, I am about to arrive in Sanya with an excited view on how the week will shape up; flying thousands of miles to the heart of Hainan island for a luxury showcase rapidly growing in popularity for a certain portion of the market.

This luxury location is about to welcome a world of HNWIs to a luxury showcase unlike any other in the region, and for the third year in a row, we're taking a look at how this nutures luxury consumerism in the yachting market.

While our previous reports from the docks have highlighted a descent for the superyacht community, the motor yacht market continues to evolve and proves an existent cultural turn to the water.
