Editor’s Note: Setting the Bar for 2017

Palm Beach International Boat Show opened today to the bolstering report of Solandge’s sale, the largest yacht at the show and the largest brokerage deal of 2017. This breaking announcement from Moran Yacht & Ship set the show in an impressive light to kick things off, a huge silver lining on a very rainy first day.

This brokerage report follows our look into the boats heading to Palm Beach which, with 700 boats on display, is setting the bar following its acquisition by Monaco Yacht Show organisers Informa.

Our focus also landed on the largest yachts to emerge this year as the first quarter of 2017, carrying forward a trend of incredible launches of last year. This came on the back of the announcement from Nobiskrug as they began construction on a new 80-metre bespoke superyacht.
