Editor's Note: Back to the Drawing Board

Sat amongst the perfect chaos of a design space in Venice, I gained a unique perspective of the superyacht design community. This is, after all, a world where 'professional dreamers' operate, as Dan Lenard tells me; grinning over a desk so cluttered with intricate sketches and yacht profiles I can barely hold eye-contact.

Speaking with his design partner of 25 years, Carlo Nuvolari, the designers behind Alfa Nero delivered an education on iconicism as we considered everything from the lines of a Shelby Mustang to the architectural triumphs of Venice itself. 

This is about as much as I can share from this week's journey, which has taken us from London, across the UK and back to Italy. In the meantime, our Editorial Team has been busy once again to bring you the latest from the superyacht new-build, brokerage and charter spectrum. 

Across the globe this week, we've seen projects mature in a variety of ways. From the first sighting of the largest-ever Columbus hull, to the technical launch of Ferretti's 780 on the banks of Cattolica right to the long-awaited delivery of Heesen classic, the 50m, Home.  

Aside from the new, we've also marvelled at the existing, in our inspiring break down of Espen Oieno's greatest design feats, and taken a look into the future, at some of the most thrilling Automotice-Yacht collaborations to date.

Meanwhile, and as the Production Team and I transverse the continent filming and photographing, in our charter story of the week, we celebrated Burgess' fleet addition, Titania which provides a (more relaxing!) way to explore the Med in ultimate relaxation...
