Editor's Note: The Countdown to Monaco Begins
It’s a Monaco special this week as we gear up for the 27th edition of the world’s finest superyacht showcase; looking at the largest, the latest and the must-see arrivals acting as the DNA of a 125-strong fleet in Port Hercules.
The Breaking News Centre is returning once again, and with another full interview schedule, we can’t wait to build on the biggest news of the year and break some announcements ourselves.
Jubilee is set to headline the world of yachts on the water next week, with powerhouse examples of size and design such as Areti and Aquarius standing out amongst one of the finest (and largest) fleets in the history of the Monaco Yacht Show.
Out of this 125-strong fleet, 45 brand-new yachts offer an insight into activity and modern demand, proving the efficacy of Monaco as a barometer for change, and giving us a look at the latest projects to hit the water this year.
Still, with another week to go, we can’t jump the gun just yet as more announcements are due to be teased across the next seven days with more unveiled at the show.
This week, however, AMELS & H2 Yacht Design led the way of new announcements in the form of the 111-metre superyacht concept Pollux. This flowing design is deceptive of her size, and promises a bright new future for the AMELS Custom fleet set for full unveiling at the Monaco Yacht Show with a scale model.
Dynamiq introduced the GTT 115 to the water this week, coining the distinctive style as ‘the modern gentleman’s yacht’; offering everything one could possibly want on board a 35-metre cruiser. Also set for unveiling next week.
