The consensus surrounded the importance of Fort Lauderdale, naturally a yachting hub in America, this is the thrumming heart of the U.S. industry and has offered up another round of market positivity according to the views of Benetti, Lurssen, Perini Navi and Feadship. At the show, global project debuts came to light such as Oceanco’s Project Lumen - the first yacht to include a diamond dusted paint across 92-metres of yacht - Rossinavi also came to the fore with Zephyr, a superyacht concept inspired by the automotive industry.
VSY added their marker to the show with the announcement of the Hot Lab-styled eco-explorer concept that adds to the progression of the Italian-yacht builders evolution to sustainability, and adventure.
Meanwhile, as thousands of visitors walked the docks of Fort Lauderdale, the industry kept astride with activity as European brokers, builders and designers announced their own breakthroughs; such as Royal Huisman’s launch of Aquarius, Sanlorenzo’s sale of two new 44Alloy yachts and Benetti’s delivery of Mr. Loui to a Mexican owner.
Yacht sales have also been prevalent over the last few weeks as brokers such as SuperYachtsMonaco announce the sale of Vitamin, Fraser brings an update behind the sale of Carlamaria and, of course, the sale of the Nobiskrug Project 783.
