Editor's Note: Insights, Interiors & Lifestyle in Focus
The Antigua Charter Yacht Show is in full swing this week with a legion of brokers and charter experts exploring the region while the rest of us prepare for the holidays in far colder climes. With our film team working to bring you an in-depth round-up of the show, we’re beginning our rundown of the year and offering insights into industry activity as we head into 2018.
While the film team soldiers on, we turn our view to charter and subsequently one of the top yachts available on the market today, Aquila. Benefitting from a significant refit, this is one of the most effortlessly cool superyachts available with an interior alone worthy of global recognition.
Another yacht of well-earned global acclaim is Cloud 9. The jewel in the crown of CRN's extremely busy year, Cloud 9 is a stand-alone marvel and gave the industry an insight into how design can create entire worlds. On board, we focussed our view on the interiors and kept up the pace on our insights feature series with new photos and insights from one of the finest yachts cruising the world as we speak.
Interiors themselves became something of a focus for us as we looked back across 2017 and our insights into the latest interior designs and lifestyle icons, as well as the best refit features to hit our front pages.
We’ll be continuing our look back as we head toward the holidays, however, in the meantime we’ve continued our search for the best insights and stories this week.
Claydon Reeves gave us an exclusive insight into their latest and greatest projects this week, with a discussion surrounding the cutting-edge (Exo), the latest launch (Delta One) and their breakthrough project (Aeroboat). With a rapid trajectory and more varied projects than most, Claydon Reeves is a studio to keep a very close eye on next year.
We’ve been delivering the latest stories and insights; such as CRN’s brand-new 86-metre explorer project with Harrison Eidsgaard. This new move for the yard brings CRN to its roots in exploration and imbues a traditional style with updated lines and globally-capable engineering. An exciting project, to say the least, we’re looking forward to hearing more about this once it hits the shipyard.
Benetti launched the latest Delfino 95, a superyacht imbued with flawless style thanks to the vision of the Giorgio M. Cassetta design studio and flawless Benetti construction. Merge this with the updates emerging from the Codecasa shipyard, and it looks like December’s updates may be slowing, but it’s not entirely over yet.
Make sure you keep an eye on our social media feeds for more updates across the coming weeks, but in the meantime, we’ll be back with our insights and updates from across Antigua, and next year, very soon. Until then!
