The year is coming to a close and the Superyachts.com office is preparing for the holiday season accordingly. Our film team has returned from the Caribbean with the latest insights from the Antigua Charter Show, we’re entering into post-production for our Caribbean Charter Special and the industry has continued to offer insights into new projects, designs and launches from across the world.
Rose Hannah Lishman was on the docks of English Harbour last week, providing social insights into the winter party of the year. It’s thanks to this we have a full Round Up of the week’s events, and enough footage to dedicate an entire week to the charter yachts of the Caribbean in the very near future.
In the meantime, Heesen Yachts brought hull and superstructure together on Project Neptune, the latest in a long line of superyacht projects to emerge from the shipyard in Oss. This flowing, sleek and modern superyacht - from what we can tell from current construction status - is a fantastic addition to the rapidly-expanding Heesen fleet and something we look forward to bringing you more on in the New Year.
Perini Navi represented Italian craftsmanship at its finest once again this week as they announced a new hybrid push in the form of new projects E-Volution and Eco Tender. Two extremely different designs but each important in their own right.
The 42-metre sloop is a testament to the enduring skill under sail of Perini Navi, and the tender is a chance to showcase the shipyard’s versatility and technological prowess. These projects are not only an exciting addition to the fleet in construction, but a fantastic reflection of the new phase Perini Navi is settling into following the investment and renewal of the brand.
Christina Tsangaris had the pleasure of stepping on one of the latest Rossinavi projects earlier this year, and while confidentiality is the nature of the industry, we’ve been allowed to share an exclusive insight into the charter lifestyle of Endeavour II with exclusive comments from broker, designer and chef.
Continuing with our exclusive insights, we picked the minds of Management, Brokerage & Refit experts Hill Robinson to get a bigger picture on one of the upcoming destinations of the coming years, Cyprus. Thanks to vast investment opportunities and stability through development in the uncertain climes of Brexit, we learned of the numerous reasons why superyacht owners and charter guests are flocking to the island.
