It’s been an exciting month for the Superyachts.com team, with preparations for the 2015 Top 100 shaping a vast leap forward in the evolution of the event; however, we’re not the only ones who have been busy.

After a visit to a major shipyard in the Netherlands early on in the week and production meetings taking place to craft something truly special in regards to our signature event in January, we’ve hardly had time to absorb the news from the industry.

As if to highlight the upcoming arrival of our Top 100 Forecast, the delivery of Victory became headline news and confirmed Fincantieri’s position as an important contributing body to a fleet of the largest superyachts in the world.

Perini Navi also brought forth a new insight into their new 70m Sybaris project a week after unveiling their other new 38m project with Philippe Briand. Both holding the impressive styling of the French designer, this ketch is scheduled for launch in 2015.

Adding to the influx of incredible sailing yachts, Royal Huisman announced their latest order for a beautiful 56m classic ketch which will now be entering into construction. With drawings by Dykstra Naval Architects and interior design from Mark Whiteley Design, this is a welcome announcement from the Dutch yard who recently unveiled their masterful work on Wisp.

With new sales and industry movements joining these announcements, it’s been another busy week for the industry as the holidays draw closer. We will continue with preparations for the Top 100 as the weeks continue and keep you updated with whatever elements of the New Year we can reveal.
