In their usual style, Lürssen Yachts has taken the world aback by launching a Top Secret superyacht project which, even though outside of the yard and in the floating dock, remains that way.
The intrigue a project such as this creates is incredible, and the fact that Lürssen have kept their cards very close to their chest up until the final reveal is impressive when considering the scale of both the yacht and the operation.
This yacht is clearly on her way to the top ranking levels of the Top 100 Largest Yachts, but as it’s only April, I can’t help but feel this isn’t it for the impressive launches emerging from Germany this year; however, regardless of size, this is not the only vessel to emerge recently.
Feadship proudly announced the official launch of a yacht on the other end of the scale in size, but not necessarily in quality. The 44 metre Moon Sand emerged from the yard with all the style and class of any Feadship yacht and is now awaiting delivery in The Netherlands.
After being at the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show last week, I have a lot of information pertaining to a very exciting few months ahead and look forward to delivering you the latest as it emerges. Until then, you can catch up with our coverage of the LYJAPCS here or read the Lurssen and Feadship stories here.
