Editor's Notes: Final Day Of The Monaco Yacht Show

On one particular day each year, the horns of a hundred superyachts sound and the clock stops on the Monaco Yacht Show. I have no idea where the time went, but I do know that this has lived up to the reputation of the biggest edition of the Monaco Yacht Show to date.

Something around 500 exhibitors, 120 boats and a whole legion of qualified visitors have descended on the show, with a unified industry traipsing the blue carpet to create activity within a once more burgeoning market.

However I’m sure I’m just covering old ground, everyone at the show knows how the industry is faring - and if you weren’t here over the last four days, you need only check our interviews with the main names within the superyacht. There are much more to come, the Superyachts.com team has worked endlessly to produce up to 70 interviews and we are now packing down for another year.

The Breaking News Centre has been a huge success, and from myself, Shari, the film team and the rest of the guys and girls running around the show, we would like to offer a huge thank you to the people who joined us in the interview studio, our readers, the people who invited us to events, the Captain, Crew and Owners of Irimari as well as those who just stopped by to say hello.

If you need me, I’ll be seeking out the Rugby getting ready to deliver more digital, filmed and photographic content on our next trip out of the UK next week. The road show must go on.
