The 2015 Monaco Yacht Show coverage continues this week with another full house of interviews with some of the biggest names in the superyacht industry.
Headlining in today’s newsletter is Frank Laupman, CEO of Dutch design company Omega Architects. During his interview on the docks of Monaco’s Port Hercule, Mr Laupman discussed Omega’s latest collaboration with CRN following the hugely successful launch of the 73 metre motoryacht Yalla last year.
Central to their thinking was how beach clubs would feature in the new line and Mr Laupman explained how Yalla served as a key inspiration for this.
Next up we bring you an interview with superyacht owner Dr Giovanni Tamburi, whose company, Tamburi Investment Partners, owns some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands. Mr Tamburi spoke, among other things, about his exciting new business venture that has seen him purchase a substantial stake in Italian yacht builder Azimut Benetti.
Other notable subjects to take their seat in our Official Breaking New Centre in Monaco and featuring in today’s newsletter include Martin Baum Of yacht insurance experts Pantaenius, Anella Alcott from the revamped Barcelona marina village OneOcean Port Vell and Roland Krueger of yacht designers Newcruise.
There’s also Ed Dubois who discusses forty year of top class design, West Nautical on two striking yachts on display in Monaco and Simone Marconcini from Italian shipyard Logica Yachts on their plans to build larger yachts than ever before.
With Monaco fading into the distance, we will soon be turning our attentions to another high profile yacht show – the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show which takes place in less than a month’s time.
