Editor's Notes: Behind The Top 100 2016 Movie

After wading through an ocean of content created by the visiting superyacht industry during the Top 100 2016 in London, I’ve found myself in the final phases of the publishing stage. With it, I’m proud to present the latest Superyachts.com Top 100 Movie which was created to portray the upcoming launches of 2016 as well as the people behind the advancements furthering the luxury lifestyle on the water.

It was a lot of fun travelling around the world to produce this movie and talk to those that featured, but before I harp on about how good of a job the Superyachts.com film team has done, I’ll let it play above and you can decide for yourselves.

This week we’ve also published (and are continuing to do so) interviews filmed during the Top 100, which are providing nothing short of an exclusive insight into the world of the superyacht industry and opening the lid ever so slightly on the confidential projects emerging this year.

More are on the way, and with an upcoming lull in travel I must say I’m looking forward to the return to normality the world seems to crave three quarters of the way through any January.

This is not the end of the Top 100 for the year mind, I’ll be delivering updates throughout 2016 to keep the momentum and excitement generated by the event going while hopefully leaving the lack of sleep well and truly behind.

It has been a genuine pleasure working with the industry for the 2016 Top 100 and it’s almost time to veer my - recently pinpoint focal - gaze away from the world’s largest and look into the advancements taking place under 80 metres. Size isn’t everything folks.
