Editor's Note: Custom, Quality & Creativity
The superyacht community is forever working on something bigger, something better and something that will raise the bar according to the growing demands of owners. This notion of true custom creation, one-of-a-kind design and flawless engineering pushes every professional within the industry to deliver better, and create better.
This is what I am reminded of every time the film team and I leave the office, discussing in-depth the latest and greatest projects but also the moments that defined both brand and boat. While I can’t give our latest project away just yet, what I can tell you is that our recent trip to Italy was a masterclass in custom, quality and creativity.
The team here at Superyachts.com have an unparalleled respect for the work that goes on across the superyachting world, and greatly look forward to bringing you each interview, update and insight in the very near future.
In the meantime, our editorial team have been hard at work bringing you the latest launches, on-board insights and destination spotlights; including the brand-new Feadship to emerge in 2017 ‘Hasna’.
The custom yachting experts at Feadship revealed the family-orientated yacht - built by an Australian owner - at the very start of the week, as well as lifting the veil on the latest work from British-design studio RWD.
In other news, Palumbo came to the fore this week to announce the start of their latest - and largest - construction project. This 2018 delivery will bring a new edge to the Italian shipyard and a modern, sleek and progressive superyacht to the global fleet.
Another noteworthy success was the launch of Baglietto’s Andiamo, a superyacht which continues to highlight the incredible work underway in the Italian shipyard. Following on from Unicorn and Lucky Me - not to mention their latest ‘military inspired’ yacht design - Andiamo is a stunning addition to a rapidly growing fleet.
That’s all from me this week, but in the meantime why don’t you get in touch if there’s anything you think we’re missing, or if you have any insights from on board that you would like to share. Don’t forget to check out our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds for up-to-the-minute updates, wherever you are.
