Editor's Note: A Take on Sustainability & Superyachts

Day Three at the Monaco Yacht Show has put the week in perspective. For us, the beating heart of our show lies in our Breaking News Centre, where over the past few days, we have now welcomed over 50 industry experts to discuss the year in trends, successes and projects and to learn of their exciting futures.

Talking about the major messages of the show, the sustainability of Monaco and the growing ambition of global environmental responsibility with H.S.H. Prince Albert II was not only an honour, but provides a thought-provoking watch; on the future of yachting and in particular, climate change.

Jubilee was the perfect platform for the grandeur of the topic at hand, not to mention an amazing opportunity to step on board and check out the lines, interiors and overall style for myself.

In the meantime, we've been roaming the show with our film team, catching the best of the best. On board Perini Navi, Seven, this morning we marvelled the advances in sailing-yacht interiors, while back at the stand, discussed high-profile refits with design-legends such as Laura Pomponi and Nuvolari-Lenard

As the sun set over the decks across Port Hercule, the magnitude of this show begins to sink in and with a third successful day gone-by, we look to another star of the show, MY I NOVA, where our event with IYC and some fantastic sponsors will host some of the industry-greats this evening, under the stars.

Things are still powering forward with the Breaking News Centre, and I can not wait to bring you insights into projects underway with Jonny Horsfield of H2, the guys from Claydon Reeves, Omega Architects and updates on activity from across the spectrum of brokers and builders.
